Mutsessions: 04/01 MEJIBRAY @ Takadanobaba Area

Good evening dear readers ♥

How's everyone doing?

The weather in Germany finally changed ♥ it'll be sunny almost the whole week!!
(even though today it was pretty stormy...)

After super rainy/cold weeks/months this is a very welcomed change ♥

Speaking about nice weather:

Back in Tokyo the weather was mostly amazing as well, even though it was April ♥

After hanging up my laundry (to let it dry) I noticed that without clouds you can see the Skytree from our balcony ♥ oh how I already miss this view~

After partying the whole weekend long we decided to take it slower on April 1 ♥

I can't remember what we did in the morning...but we met Anna's and my boss (musicJAPANplus) around 17:30 ♥

The reason for meeting was:

A concert of course ♥ before I came to Tokyo he asked me whether I'd like to cover some concerts (write live reports etc) during my trip and so we ended up seeing Mejibray ♥

Unfortunately it was a little crowded though...the hall was too small for a press corner and therefore we could barely see anything. In the end our boss told us that it's impossible to write a report today and that we shall just enjoy the gig. And so we did ♥

Mejibray were first ♥

I already knew 99% of their songs and I quite like them, so I was looking forward to see them a lot.

Fortunately I'm tall, so even while standing in the last row I've been able to see part of their show.

Mejibray are quite theatrical...especiall vocal Tsuzuku and drum Meto.

They were playing around 6 songs (yeah, pretty short...but they were like an opening act only). I surprisingly felt like Mejibray currently have more fans in Germany/Europe than they do in Japan! Most of the fans that evening were there for Diaura!

Well, that said I really hope Mejibray are going to play overseas soon. Right now it would be the perfect timing. (Same to Golden Bomber btw)

We were talking to our boss about it (yep, MJP organize tours as well) and even though he didn't like Mejibray that much (haha) we'll see what happens next.

At night we went to my favorite restaurant again ♥ oh how I would love a place like that in Germany

Mutsessions - 2012/11/10 AN CAFE Dortmund, Germany

It's time for Mutsessions!

This time I went to see 

AN CAFE in Dortmund, Germany ♥

The interesting part: I've been there both as a journalist and as a fan.

Due to the journalist part I had to be at the venue at 1 pm ( interview time, yay (such an honor))

Luckily I had another Cafekko accompany me on my journey.

She even planned a short stop in Düsseldorf ♥

Bookstore Nippon in Düsseldorf and me eating a Brezel at 7 am while waiting for my train.

And yep, I won't ever leave Düsseldorf without Onigiri.

You know, some years ago Senja contacted me on MySpace (yeah, it's that long ago) only because I was wearing a "I love Teruki" shirt on my profile pic. We then got to talk a lot about our love for An Cafe and met each other 1~2 times a year. She even visited me at home once ♥ 

For knowing and loving her that long I am always glad to be able to see her again.

This time, at our usual occasion-to-meet (An Cafe concerts) I've been able to spend the whole night with her, we even (accidentally) booked the same train home ♥ (well, I've been driving home, she has been driving to the next An Cafe gig in Munich haha)

Those of you who know MJP (musicJAPANplus) probably know that they are doing Fashion Checks. Well, I was in charge of doing the Fashion Check of An Cafe Fans in Dortmund.

Did you guys know I'm a translator/reporter for the online magazine musicJAPANplus (MJP)?

Well...I am, haha~ & right last year I had the chance to meet fellow World Team Members of MJP and help out in Cologne ♥

My big adventure started May 16th and ended May 18th, spent 12 hrs with D, their staff and MJP Members~ It also was a great experience for me due to traveling completely alone, "living" in a big town for 3 days in a row. My goal was to improve my self-confidence and experience the "backstage-feeling" of something I truly love - concerts.

Please take a look at the photos I took during those 3 days ♥ maybe you'll even be able to feel 10% of what I felt when taking those...~

16 May 2011 - Arrival in Cologne

Photo 3 & 4: Cologne is well-known for a big gay scene; the area around my hostel proved it haha

I decided to challenge myself and booked a bed in shared room; forced to spend the night with complete strangers.

 ...yeah, I was basically living on my bed.

17 May 2011: The day of the Adventure ♥

Woke up early, took a shower and had free of charge tea in the hostels living room:

Went to eat breakfast at the same place I had dinner the night before and started to explore the area right around the hostel:

"Work" started at 1 pm, so I had a lot of time to kill...

 Took some photos of the area around the concert hall and went to Burger King to kill the extant minutes by reading and enjoying a soft drink~

Now prepare for a few band photos I took between preparing the merchandise table and counting the merchandise etc:
