Trying to pull off blonde...

How's everyones weekend?

Mine has been okay so far.

I spent thursday with my mom (no university until monday, yay), went to work on Friday, spent Friday Night and Saturday with Anna and am going to work again tomorrow.

Last week I tried to include my blonde Cosplay wig into a kind of going out style and took the chance to review the Make Up Brushes I received from Bornprettystore along with the Nail Art Brushes I've been reviewing [here] almost 2 weeks ago.

It was my first try using Nail Art Brushes and it took me quite a while to finish my first Nail:

For those of you who know One Piece: Yep, this is Gekko Moria

As you may tell it's possible to draw really small and clear details!

I can see me using those brushes regularly as I'm a fan of detailed Nail Art haha...

Left Hand:

Due to my increasing headache and extremely untalented left hand I decided to make the right hand less creative:

Matching colors though.

For both hands I've been using 9 out of 15 Nail Art Brushes.

Quick tip for how to clean them:

Try soaking them in clear Nail Polish after reducing the Polish on brush with Nail Polish Remover; it'll suck the last drop of color out of your brush!

[Review] Monkey Nail Dryer

Some weeks ago I received my 2nd sponsored bornprettystore item:

bornprettystore did a good job with packing, the box you see above came wrapped in an air cushion envelope.

Unfortunately it seems like YUMING, the manufacturer of Monkey Nail Dryer didn't plan to send this box around the world. Monkey had to much space within the box, therefore it got a little damaged and I had to fix it...on account of this it took me so long to post this Review.

Let's take a closer look at the Monkey itself:

Looks exactly like the promo-picture ♥

Remove a part of Monkey's head to achieve the battery case.

Practical Experience:

Usually you'll only have to slightly push the banana button with your finger to activate the blowing function, but...

..due to the damage it's reeeaaally hard to push it. Almost impossible with only one finger and even more impossible to push it as long as it takes to dry your nail polish...

 It's possible to paint your whole nail with the included brush, though I wouldn't recommend it because the polish is rather sticky and made for more detailed work.

(Chose black nail polish to show the covering power.)

Had to apply 2 coats to achieve covering yellow color.

Not neon and not too 'dirty' (Yellow is a though color haha)

 

Ball end              ★★★★☆

Tends to build up pressure & wont stop running for a few minutes, but I guess this is going to decrease while using the pen more often. Oh and it's a little bit hard to open the cap.

Works for small and broad lines, tiny bit too long to work detailed though.

Contains enough nail polish to serve you for months and it's really handy for detailed nail art!
